Amenities and Services
Complimentary high-speed wireless access is available in the guest lounge, across from the lobby. WI-FI is available in some guest rooms for a small fee. The front desk can provide irons and ironing boards, hair dryers and beach towels upon request. A boutique located at the shoreline offers souvenirs plus men and women's clothing. Get a tan and a good read - the book lending library is located in the Activities Lounge. A mini grocery, with snacks, drinks, basic groceries and sundries is available just off the resort lobby. The staff in the Activity Lounge will be delighted to assist you in booking sailboat and powerboat trips, fishing excursions, parasailing, submarine rides, golfing, SCUBA diving, car rentals and ferry trips to St. John and the Virgin Island National Park which are just minutes away. Note: No passports are needed for USVI travel (American citizens).

 THE BEAUTY AND MAJESTY OF ST. THOMAS by Jon Frangipane ...After a phone conversation with resort director Jennifer Jarvis, at Point Pleasant Resort, I was convinced this would be a good decision. The Two and a half-hour trip got me to Cyril E. King Airport in Charlotte Amalie at about 3 pm. In 45-minutes, a shuttle brought me to Point Pleasant Resort on the northeast part of the island. The resort is entirely built on the side of what we in Florida would call a mountain, ...I climbed (the) stairs up to my door, walked in expecting the usual boring, dimly lit, tasteless single room I’m so used to being hit with... Well, will miracles never cease; to my extreme delight was a bathroom to the right, a spacious bedroom to the left, a hallway down three steps to a kitchen on the right, and just ahead a 25 x 15 foot living room/dining room area with high vaulted wood ceilings, including a huge wrap around outdoor balcony, overlooking seven islands, set in a sparkling emerald Caribbean Sea.
